Art of Private Shaking Glass & Bar Supply GmbH (known as APS) is founded 1990 and started by the founders Mr. Karim El Hamami and Mr. Shung Yiu.

Mr. El Hamami is coming from the foodservice (managing director of several cocktail bars) and Mr. Yiu from the traditional trade business; the strength of both create the basis to improve the business, especially in the niche market of glass & bar products. To step up the business two new junior partners joined the company in 1996, Mr. Matthias Bloess as a technical director and Mr. Jan Sammann (former employee of Hotel Intercontinental) as a sales director .

Today we count 48 pairs of helpful hands in our companies around Europe.
January 2004 we have settled our first subsidiary in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2007 our second in Warsaw, Poland and 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Through our sources around the world we guarantee best value prices. We do many MTO “made to order” items as custom bar mats, stirrers, imprinted straws, vinyl and s/s shakers, holders for napkins, special pourers, ice buckets and other bar items. We love the challenge to satisfy B2B customer’s requirements.

We distribute all our products around Europe through alliance partners in Sweden, France, Switzerland, Spain and the UK in the same way as we do with our own subsidiaries. This alliance group helps to compare notes of the customer needs around Europe.

Within nearly 20 years we have gained experience and knowledge by travelling, sourcing and communicating with suppliers and customers.
This is one strong part of our today’s professional competence.

The alliance of major European bar supply companies provides the intelligence to know the needs of today’s foodservice market. With our own decorating department with 10 imprinting machines we are flexible to match customer needs and schedules.
As a full service provider for all levels from graphic design, decoration, warehousing, quality control, packaging we are flexible and independent at the same time. By this we can fulfil all kinds of customer requirements.
